Internet Meets a Mate

People have become so consumed with work, activities, and life in general that no one has the time to seriously go out to meet anyone; to find that "instant" attraction which make a person wants to get to know another and possibly build a relationship with along the way. The world has evolved so much that the internet is the meeting ground for most. It's a social medium that allows people to view, read, assume, and assimulate some for of objective as to if that person could be the one for them. But, it still doesn't provide that "connection" that one should want when it comes to matters of the heart. Anyone can say anything to attract someone to their profile. Everyone can use a picture from back in the day, or of another person, to make themselves attractive. And in reality, it's not always you meeting a mate, it's the internet creating one. Is the internet the best way to meet a mate. Should we go back to the old fashion way of waiting and hoping that we happen to run into that "one" who makes us forget what we were going to say; feel nervous with butterflies swarming in our stomach? Or, are we just too busy and consumed to take notice to those who are already in our lives?
